This project consisted of the demolition of the existing Health Centre and the construction of a new three-storey health centre, including an 85-space carpark.

Project Brief
Phased demolition and removal of two existing buildings and outbuildings. Construction of a new three-storey health centre, comprising of strip foundations, precast concrete ground first and second floor, load bearing cavity masonry walls and pitched single lap artificial slate roof. New mechanical and electrical services above, and below ground drainage. External works including new footpaths, landscaping, ramp, retaining walls and car parking, also including the connection to drainage and utility services.

Project Solution
The existing site contained a Health Centre, Family Centre and associated outbuildings. To
cope with the ever-growing demand caused by the growing population of Stowmarket and
other surrounding areas, these were all demolished to make way for the new, larger and more modern health centre.
