Nowton Park new visitor centre

Building Size: 245 square metres

Project Situation: To replace the existing portable building and facilities with this new sympathetically designed public building which now nestles beautifully within the 200 acre Suffolk park.

Project Brief: Needhams Contracts Limited are proud to have worked with our client St. Edmundsbury Borough Council in the building of this new Visitor Centre at Nowton Park.

Project Solution: The public facility contains two sets of sports changing rooms with showers, sports official changing room, disabled toilet, public toilets and a café.

Points of Interest: The timber clad visitor centre complies with very strict environmental standards and features photovoltaic (solar) producing energy on the roof.
