New Houses & Flats

The development included the construction of four new-build houses and the refurbishment of the old station house into eight flats. Mini piles and ground beams support the new beam

and block ground floor. The new first floor comprises steel beams, permanent metal formwork and reinforced insitu concrete. The large aluminium windows were purpose made to fit existing openings. Due to the sloping ground, an interlocking sheet piled retaining wall was constructed between the existing railway goods sheds (new flats) and the new houses.
